	What a beautiful adventure the making of "Mes Îles, Mon Pays" The behind the scenes work of putting this production together has itself a story worthy of a theatrical presentation. From start to finish, it is a story of expectations, difficulties, fears, hopes finally culminating in succes. The merit of this wonderful team is not just the success of a one night show but has grown much greater. Each person gave so much in the preparation of this historical remake and it all started by a two week immersion in Îles-de-la-Madeleine history.

Following this initiation, each person got down to work, some working to make the set, others involved in making accessories, costumes, maintenance, refreshing old furniture, carpentry, secretarial and publicity. The musicians and technicians spent two intensive months researching period music, sounds, arranging music and fine tuning special effects and lighting. In other words. each person contributed by giving this representation his or her own personal touch. Some exercised roles as teachers lending a hand and teaching others how to make sets, arrange the accessories, make costumes etc.... The professionalism of the technicians, stage artist and musicians of note put the finishing touches on the extraordinary success of "Mes Îles. Mon Pays" My thanks to the troupe, the volunteers as well as those who believed in this project and have contributed in making this production the success it has become.
